Support and services available after assessment:
ADHD Active provides private ADHD treatment and prescribing. We offer medication initiation, titration and ongoing medication reviews where clinically appropriate. Treatment is personalised and monitored by qualified prescribers, with regular reviews during titration. Once a patient is stable on medication, we can provide relevant clinical information to their NHS GP and support a request for shared care where appropriate. Acceptance of shared care is entirely at the GP’s discretion. Where shared care is not accepted, patients can continue their treatment privately with ADHD Active.
ADHD Active is a private ADHD service and does not provide NHS ADHD appointments. Suitability for assessment and treatment is considered individually. Our service may not be appropriate where a patient has complex or unstable mental health needs, significant medical contraindications to ADHD medication, or requires specialist or inpatient care beyond the scope of our service. Where appropriate, patients may be advised to seek support from their GP, NHS services or another specialist provider.
