Child Psychiatry Consultancy (CPC) is a CQC-registered independent child and adolescent mental health service, delivered fully online across the UK. Assessments are led by Dr Athina Zakynthinaki, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD, MRCPsych), who has 15 years’ experience as an NHS consultant and has completed more than 3,000 autism and 2,000 ADHD assessments. We offer ADHD, autism and combined neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people aged 4–18. ADHD assessments use the QbTest, the Young DIVA interview and Conners 4 rating scales, with verbal feedback on the day and a full report within 5 working days. Autism assessments are multidisciplinary, with the ADI-R and ADOS-2-informed observation carried out alongside a Speech and Language Therapist and an Occupational Therapist, followed by a feedback session and a report within 5 working days. Where needed, care can continue within the same service, including ADHD medication initiation and monitoring and support for anxiety, low mood and other co-occurring difficulties. We work closely with GPs and schools, and consultations are available in English and Greek. Psychiatric consultations are recognised by Bupa, Aviva, Allianz, Cigna and WPA; neurodevelopmental assessments are self-funded.
